As a customer, you can choose the modules per user group or team member with the functionality your employees need to perform their tasks in the project.

Structure your documents

Documents

The Documents module is the basis of BIMlink and is the tool with which you can easily save and classify all types of files. You simply drag documents to BIMlink and our platform will automatically manage your version history. BIMlink also tracks the activity to every file in your building file; who viewed it and when it was edited. All documents are linked to the spatial structure of the building. Therefore, you can search for relevant documents per building, floor, room or even building element. 

This makes BIMlink a fully-fledged Document Management System (DMS) for building, construction and management projects.

Clear communication 

Communication

The module Communication guarantees smooth running of a project. With BIMlink you create, follow up and co-work on common questions and action lists, including appendices, and clarify issues in the project. 

Your personal BIMlink dashboard presents a view of all communication from all projects to which every specific user is authorized. After login, all tasks, assignments and questions are clear at a glance. Team members can choose how they wish to receive notifications on relevant information. Unnecessary large amounts of e-mail will be a thing of the past.

Always the right version

Construction

In the module Construction, project leaders can give final approval to specific document versions. This way, all versions of all documents are stored in the building file. But for the construction of the building only the versions approved for implementation are important. Released documents are stamped with a QR code. 

With the module Construction you can quickly and accurately check the latest released version of documents.

Insight into agreements

Protocol

The module Protocol has been specially developed for checking agreements on metadata, disciplines and aspect models. Creating a clear building file depends on clear agreements. By recording these agreements in the module Protocol, checks can be partly automated. Information that does not comply with the agreements can be marked or even refused. 

The module Protocol gives all project partners insight into the agreements made and keeps a grip on the large amounts of data.

Automate the process

Workflows

The module Workflows is developed to make large amounts of data and documents manageable. The intuitive interface makes it simple and easy to translate every process into an automated workflow. There are standard blocks for various actions, including inspection, approval, stamping and notifications. Determine the order, deadlines and conditions of the steps yourself. The workflow will then be automated to monitor progress and coordinate all tasks. With clear reports, the progress of the workflow is always clear and recorded.

Modelsync

ModelSync has been developed to synchronize the access to digital building models for the relevant partners so they don’t have to worry about working with (updated) files. The software periodically checks for new or updated files on the servers of the participating partners. These files are then automatically synchronized to all other project partners. ModelSync creates efficient and secure collaboration with the entire project team on one BIM-model.
