Insights into issues in BIM models

With the issue management platform BIMcollab Cloud from software company KUBUS, users can store, share and solve the issues in BIM models in a structured and centralised way. The platform is built on the open standards IFC and BCF and contains all relevant information for effective communication about BIM models. Issues can be coordinated directly from commonly used BIM tools such as Archicad, Revit, Solibri and ZOOM. With the project reporting and reliable audit trail of BIMcollab Cloud, project partners are always updated on the most current information about issues.

Integration BIMlink

The integration between BIMlink and BIMcollab Cloud ensures that BIMcollab issues are also part of and visible in the Communication module of BIMlink. Now BIMlink users can jointly create and follow up questionnaires and action lists, including attachments that clarify issues in the project. Users can also save complete reports, such as the minutes of construction meetings, in the communication module of BIMlink. This means that all information is always secured and stored with the project.

Future Expansions

From Q3 of 2021, BIMcollab issues will be visible in 3D models within BIMlink. At the end of 2021 it will also be possible to create issues directly from BIMlink in BIMcollab Cloud.
